At Threshold Furnish Shop, we believe that beautiful furniture should be paired with equally beautiful shopping experiences—including our returns and exchanges process. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase, and we’ve designed this policy to ensure a seamless experience should you need to return or exchange an item.
Returns & Exchanges Overview
We accept returns and exchanges within 15 days of your receipt of the item. To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Please Note: Due to the custom nature and hygiene considerations of certain furniture pieces, the following items are not eligible for return or exchange:
- Custom or made-to-order furniture
- Beds and mattresses (for hygiene reasons)
- Assembled furniture that has been disassembled
- Items marked as “final sale” or “clearance”
How to Initiate a Return or Exchange
Step 1: Submit Your Request
To start the return or exchange process, please complete our Returns & Exchanges Request Form (see template below) and email it to [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order.
Step 2: Wait for Approval
Our customer service team will review your request and respond within 2 business days with instructions and a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number if approved.
Step 3: Package and Ship Your Return
Once approved, please repackage the item securely in its original packaging, include all parts and documentation, and affix the provided return shipping label. Ship the item to our returns facility at:

Step 4: Receive Your Refund or Exchange
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will process your refund or ship your exchange according to your preference.
Refund Information
Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used for purchase:
- Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, JCB): 5-10 business days after we receive your return
- PayPal: 3-5 business days after we receive your return
Please note that original shipping fees are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.
Return Shipping Costs
For returns due to customer preference (size, color, etc.), customers are responsible for return shipping costs. For returns due to our error or defective products, we will provide a prepaid shipping label and cover all associated costs.
Exchanges
If you need to exchange an item for a different size, color, or style, we’ll be happy to help once we receive your return. If the exchange item costs more than the original, you’ll be charged the difference. If it costs less, we’ll refund the difference.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the damage and your order number. We will arrange for a replacement or refund as quickly as possible.
